This is something new that we're trying out for 2012. It is designed to keep our customers apprised of what's happening at Connecticut Scenics®.

February 16
Connecticut Scenics was accepted to the Simsbury Woman's Club 43rd Annual Arts & Crafts Festival on September 15 and 16. We were also accepted to the East Hampton Lions Club Spring Arts & Crafts Festival on May 26. Please contact us if you need directions.

February 13
A new image was added to the gallery, Snow Moon, taken in early February.

February 12
Two of the three 16x20 framed prints were accepted to the 2012 West Hartford Art League Members' Juried exhibition. Tree in Fog is in the Clubhouse Gallery and Babcock State Park is in the Saltbox Gallery. Both prints will be on display and for sale, from February 4 - March 5.

February 8
Connecticut Scenics was accepted to the United Methodist Church of Litchfield Annual Craft Fair to be held on the church grounds on West Street in Litchfield on Saturday, August 11. The hours are 9:30am to 4pm and admission is free.

February 3
Three 16x20 framed prints were submitted to the 2012 West Hartford Art League Members' Juried exhibition. Accepted artwork will be on display and for sale, from February 4 - March 5. An awards reception will be held at the Clubhouse Gallery on Sunday, February 12, from 2 to 4pm.

January 27
In the 16th Annual Connecticut Audubon Society photography exhibit, one of our submitted prints, Winter Woods, won an honorable mention.

January 16
Connecticut Scenics was accepted to the 3rd Annual Shoreline Spring Festival to be held on the Madison Green on Saturday, May 19. The hours are 10am to 4pm and admission is free.

January 13
Three 16x20 framed prints were submitted to the 16th Annual Connecticut Audubon Society photography exhibit. The images will be on display and for sale, from January 27 - March 3, to support the Audubon Society. A reception will be held on Friday, January 27 from 4 to 7pm. Tickets are $5.

January 9
An Introduction to White Balance program was given to the Charter Oak Photographic Society of West Hartford. The hour-long PowerPoint presentation covered the film origins of white balance and its impact on today's digital photography. PDF version of the presentation is available on CD.
