D00002 - Cockaponset State Forest

Cockaponset State Forest off Rt. 9 in Chester is only part of a larger forest which straddles four or five towns in southern Connecticut. There is ample parking and picnic areas with a gentle stream flowing through its center. There's also a mini-covered bridge further upsteam. This was shot on an overcast day with a polarizer from the top of a bridge.

The image was shot with a Nikon D300 and 17-35/2.8 lens at ISO 200.
