111011_208 - Campbell Falls State Park
Containing one of the five highest falls in Connecticut, Campbell Falls State Park straddles the
Connecticut / Massachusetts state line. From the small dirt parking lot you descend into the
gorge to reach the base of the falls. With all the rain there was an ample flow of water. The
problem is now you have to hike out of the gorge, which is not easy given a bag of camera gear
and a tripod. But I think it was worth it.
