110514 - Bash-Bish Falls

About a 90 minute drive from Hartford, CT, on the border between New York and Massachusetts, is Bash-Bish Falls State Park. From the parking lot, the falls are a 3/4-mile walk; all uphill. However, a nice stream follows the path to the falls.

Once at the falls, steps descend into the falls area littered with slippery rocks. Instead of concentrating on the falls themselves, I used a wide-angle lens to include some fall foliage of a nearby tree as a foreground element.
