100807_013 - Founders Memorial Park, Old Saybrook

Some of my landscape are recommendations from customers who enter my booth. This is such an example. Off of Main Street in Old Saybrook, at the end of the road, is Founders Memorial Park. It sits on a knoll overlooking the marshlands of the Connecticut River and North Cove. It's a great place for sunrises (and moonrises). This image was taken about 15 minutes before the sun broke the horizon.

The image was shot with a Nikon D3x and 24-70/2.8 lens at ISO 100.
