100717_117 - Old Saybrook Storm Clouds
The best time to shoot the sky is just after a cold front moves through
the region, and today was no exception. It rained all morning and most
of the afternoon. It was still overcast in Hartford when I drove to Old
Saybrook because the storm was clearing from southeast to northwest. The
clouds in this picture were probably 50 miles away. The light rays above
the clouds added a nice touch.
The image was shot with a Nikon D3x and 80-400/5.6 lens, ISO 100.
This image is available framed or matte only in the following sizes:
● 8x10 print / 11x14 matte

● 16x20 print / 20x24 matte
