091206 - Old Saybrook Reef
Twice a year the sun sets behind a rocky reef that's mostly visible only
at low tide. As such, if offers a safe roost for the local birds. This was
taken from the Old Saybrook Town Beach. If I have waited another day or
two, the sun would have set directly behind the reef, but the weather did
not cooperate.
The image was shot with a Nikon F5 and 500mm f/4 lens on Velvia 100.
