081714 - Point Judith Light
Point Judith Light sits near a town called Gallilee in Rhode Island. It's
about a hour's drive from Hartford. Since the sky was clear and the sun
was starting to go down, I put a polarizer on the lens to slightly darken
the blue sky. A polarizer is also used to remove the sheen from foliage
to give it a deep green color. The PC (Perspective Control) shift lens keeps
all the vertical lines straight.
The image was shot with a Nikon F5 and 28mm f/3.5 PC lens on Velvia 100.
