081512 - Westbrook Sunrise #2

This was taken just after the sun rose above the far cove. All the colors immediately changed from orange to yellow. I saw the bird sitting on the pier and immediately took a shot. I let the camera expose for the water so that the bird and pier would be in silhouette.

The image was shot with a Nikon F5 and 80-200mm f/2.8 lens on Velvia 100.
