061115 - Sunset Clouds

There's an old axiom in photography that says: "f/8 and be there!" The "be there" part is crucial to creating images. The last thing you want to hear from someone is, "You should have been here last night. The sunset was gorgeous!" Unfortunately a lot of people, including photographers, are programmed to head indoors around dinner time and end up missing spectacular light shows at sunset. This was shot from the Rockledge Golf Course in West Hartford.

The image was shot with a Nikon F4 and 80-200mm f/4 lens on Ektachrome Plus 100.
