060420 - Red Beach House

Across the Guilford river from Madison, sits an old red beach house on the Guilford side. This 'landmark' has been around forever and I think the only thing holding it up is the fresh coat of red paint some unknown individual applies to it every year. Unfortunately, there's a rumor that the beach house is slated to be torn down because it has been blighted. That would really be a shame.

The image was shot with a Nikon F4 and 80-200mm f/4 lens on Ektachrome Plus 100.
