032514 - Thimble Islands #1

Sometimes getting up early has its own rewards. In the coastal town of Guilford, in an area called Stony Creek, the harbor area affords a spectacular view of the Thimble Islands. On this particular morning the sea was dead calm which gave me a great reflection of the rising sun.

The image was shot with a Nikon F3 and 28mm f/2 lens on Fuji Velvia 50.
