Chaffinch Island State Park is located off Rt. 146 in the coastal town of Guilford. It offers views of the nearby coastline as well as Long Island Sound. There's parking for about 10 cars. It's officially open from sunrise to sunset but I've never seen the gate closed. Nice rock formations at low tide but bring your boots.
